Architecture

Architecture it’s the art & science of designing buildings and other physical structures. It
involves thinking about:
  • Function: How will the space be used? What needs to happen there?
  • Form: How will the building look? What style will it be?
  • Structure: How will the building stand up? What materials will be used?
An architect is like a planner who takes all these things into consideration and creates a
blueprint, which is a detailed plan for how to build the structure. Here's a breakdown of the two
main types of architecture:
  • Building Architecture: This is what most people think of when they hear "architecture." It's the design of houses, offices, schools, and other structures.
  • Civil Engineering: This is a type of engineering that focuses on the design and construction of public works, such as roads, bridges, and dams. It's closely related to architecture, but itusually deals with larger-scale projects.
